I'm Kévin, the founder of La French Académie, and I'd love to help you learn French! With four years of experience teaching French and a team of three dedicated teachers, we specialize in helping beginners from all around the world reach their language goals.

Over the years, we have expanded in a broader sense around the French language, and now offer translation and web content creation services. For example, we collaborate with the award-winning 2011 App of the Year, Reading Trainer, for translation and development of educational games. I also organize literary group courses and fun French Boot Camp in summer.

My approach to French lessons emphasizes developing speaking skills, pronunciation, and self-confidence. I founded La French Académie because I genuinely believe that private lessons are the most effective way to progress in a foreign language, as evidenced by my personal growth in English and Spanish.

 

For each student, I provide a Google document that serves as an online collaborative workspace and grants free access to La French Académie's resources. In this shared document, we will review and track errors after each lesson. Students are also encouraged to practice writing between lessons, such as summarizing articles, describing images, or interpreting advertisements. Based on the mistakes identified during class, I will provide personalized exercises in grammar, vocabulary, or conjugation to help you improve.
